Quality
We source from manufacturers we've trusted for years, not whoever's cheapest that month.
Our Story
Started With One Small Shop on Galle Road.
The story of Last Chance began in 1998, founded by Mr. Mohamed Kaleel Mohamed Nalir and the late Mr. Mohamed Jiffry Mohamed Zaneek. With a shared passion for lighting and design, they set out to introduce Sri Lankan customers to a wider variety of distinctive and contemporary lighting styles for homes and interior spaces.
Word travelled the way it does here — through relatives, contractors, and people who liked what their neighbour had put up. Their dedication and their feel for changing tastes built the foundation and heritage the business still stands on.
The contribution of the late Mr. Mohamed Jiffry Mohamed Zaneek remains an important and respected part of the history and legacy of Last Chance.

What Guides Us
Honesty
If a fixture won't suit your room, we'll say so — even if it costs us the sale.
Craft
Our technical team understands wiring and load, not just how a fixture looks in a photo.
Follow-Through
We're still reachable long after the invoice — for a spare part, a question, the next room.
A New Chapter
Incorporated in 2019, Built on 1998
Building on the heritage of the original Last Chance business, Last Chance Lighting (Pvt) Ltd was formally incorporated in Sri Lanka on 04 June 2019, under ROC Registration No. PV-00212320.
Incorporation marked a new chapter — carrying the same values forward while widening the range of products, services and lighting solutions we offer for residential, commercial, interior, exterior and project requirements.
At Last Chance Lighting, our journey is built upon a heritage that began in 1998 with a passion for bringing distinctive lighting designs and solutions to Sri Lanka.
When Last Chance Lighting (Pvt) Ltd was incorporated in 2019, our objective was to carry this legacy forward while developing the business to meet the changing expectations of our customers.
Lighting is more than simply illuminating a space. The right lighting can transform a home, enhance an interior, create atmosphere and bring architectural ideas to life. This understanding continues to guide the way we select our products and serve our customers.
As Founder and Managing Director of Last Chance Lighting (Pvt) Ltd, I am committed to maintaining the values on which our business was built while continuing to introduce quality, contemporary and distinctive lighting solutions to the Sri Lankan market.
We sincerely appreciate the customers, professionals, business partners and families who have placed their trust in Last Chance over the years, and we look forward to continuing this journey together.
